Belle was the daughter of John P. & Barbara Gibson Campbell. She was the widow of Louis F. Douglas. Mrs. Douglas was the mother-in-law of Roy Acuff of Grand Ole Opry Radio fame. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Roy Acuff of Nashville, TN, Mrs. H. F. Emmert of Bristol, VA, Mrs. Fred Walt of Emory Gap, TN, and Mrs. Jean Ellis, San Francisco, CA; and two sons Louis F. Douglas Jr. of Knoxville, TN, and Theodore Douglas of Chattanooga.
