He was born in Wyandot County May 13, 1873, the son of John H. and Mary Jane (Bitner) Height. He married Anna L. Laughlin and she died in 1946.
A retired farmer, Mr. Height was a Hardin County commissioner in 1920-24 and a 75-year member of Maple Grange and Subordinate Grange.
He is survived by three sons, Charles of Kenton, R. Harold of Forest and Nelson of Neapolis; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one half-sister, Mrs. Arnold Hilberg of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Schindewolf Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. H. E. Pfister officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
