JOHN H. RICE 12/11/15 - 7/21/13 Born in Dixon, California, lived in Paradise and Chico, California for 87 years and moved to Medford, Oregon 10 years ago. After retiring from Chico Dental Lab, he and our mom traveled the world, visiting family and spent summers fishing. Our family has said goodbye, for now, to a gentleman, honest and kind...remarkable...a member of the "great -est generation"...our dad. He was a husband to Doris Rice, father to Craig Rice (Nancy) of Federal Way, Washington and Carol Rice Lowenberg (Duane) of Medford, Oregon, grandfather of five and great grandfather of eight. He taught us the meaning of companionship and family love. His last days were spent interested and caring about his family. He was married 72+ years to the love of his life...they are together again.
