He married Alice Elizabeth (Woodyard) Miller in Prince William County, Virginia on 30 Apr 1919 and the couple went on to have 6 known children together: Wilmer, James, Clifford, Frances, Wade and Katherine.
About a month after their 43rd wedding anniversary, on 1 Jun 1962, Alice passed away at age 63. A little more than 16 years would pass before Oliver would join her, passing away on 9 Jul 1978 at age 80. Oliver and Alice were laid to rest beside each other at Valley View Cemetery in Nokesville, Prince William, Virginia.

------------- NOTES -------------
All pertinent information I have included here can be verified by U.S. Federal Census Records for the family in conjunction with various public records, including any documents I may upload to this memorial.
There is some speculation that Oliver and Alice had 2 more children who were born and passed away between census years. The first was a daughter, Ruth Virginia Miller, born in Nokesville, Prince William, Virginia on 17 Jul 1923 and died on 27 Jul 1929 in either Prince William County or Alexandria, Independent City, Virginia. If this information is correct, she would have been born after James... The second was a son, unnamed, who both was born and died in either Alexandria, Independent City or Fairfax County, Virginia in the year 1936. If this information is correct, he would have been born after Katherine. Although I have not found any birth or death records to substantiate these speculations, I feel it is only right to at least make mention of the possibility that these children did, indeed, exist.
I am unable to find marriage records on any of Oscar and Alice's children, which makes it impossible to locate daughters, Frances M. (b. abt. 1928) and Katherine (b. abt. 1935), who's surnames have likely changed upon marriage. Considering the fact that either one, or both, of them could still be very much alive, it would be appallingly inappropriate of me to create a memorial for them using their maiden surname.
