Mrs. Bertha Ann Woodard Danley, age 67, of Piedmont, AL, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 following a brief illness. She was born on April 5, 1946 in Wheeler County, GA, a daughter of the late David Robert Woodard and the late Sally Barlow Woodard. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Mr. Tank Danley.
Mrs. Danley attended the Church of God in Piedmont, AL and also the Calvary Assembly of God in Cedartown.
Bertha Danley is survived by her brothers and sisters in law; J.D. & Annie Bell Woodard, Walter & Bobbie Nell Woodard, William & Shelby Jean Woodard and Donald & Christine Barlow and her sister; Lora McMillan. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Woodard Danley will be conducted on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Buttrum and Rev. David Cox officiating.
Graveside and Interment services for Mrs. Danley will be conducted on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Reedy Branch Cemetery, Broxton, GA. with Dr. Jerry Buttrum and Rev. Mark Mercer officiating. Litesey Funeral Home.
