Edward was survived by his wife of 51 years, Grace; sons: Kevin and Danny Gómez; grandchildren: Kayla, Kevin and Reyna Gómez all of Santa Fe and Dillian Archuleta of Phoenix, Arizona; great-grandchildren: Jaylene and Janae Gómez; siblings: Lonnie Gómez (wife Beverly) of Nambé, Baltazar Gómez (wife Gena), MaryAnn Gómez, Louise Snook, Christina Douglas (husband Bobby) all of California, Susan Gómez of Clovis; sisters-in-law: Viola Mascareñas of Santa Fe, Angie Roybal and friend Johnny Quintana, Isabel and Joe T. Roybal and Reynalda and Gilbert Gonzáles and numerous other relatives and friends.
Public visitation and Rosary were on 22 Oct 2013 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Mass of Christian burial was on 23 Oct 2013 also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Burial followed in the Pojoaque Catholic Cemetery.
