Mrs. Arender died March 23, 1998 in the Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi, Louisiana. She was a lifelong resident of Delhi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Arender.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law - Mrs. Peggy A. Martin of Houston, TX, and Julie and William T. Gattis of Delhi; one grandson, Ernest M. Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA; four granddaughters - Pamela A. Pretridge of Houston, TX, Phoebe A. Rice and James Rice of Oxford, MS, Peggy Owen Talley and Thomas Talley of Houston, TX, and Kiazziah A. Allen of Delhi; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ernest H. Wilson, James M. Wilson, James D. Rice, Andrew J. Snider, Herman M. McGuire, Roger M. Prestridge and William T. Gattis.
Honorary Pallbearers were Thomas M. Talley, John A. Wilson Jr., Dr. George D. Edwards and L. J. Owen Rice.
