"Mrs. Mabel Wickman, 88, of 2101 Highland Ave., widow of John Wickman, died Thursday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center. She was born in Utica, daughter of Frederick and Catherine Roberts Smith. She was married to Mr. Wickman in 1906. He died in 1934. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She leaves three sons, Frank L. and John K., both of Utica, and Walter L., Whitesboro; a sister, Mrs. Lafayette (Ethel) Sherman and a brother, Reginald Smith, both of Utica. The funeral will be at 9:30 Saturday from the Heintz Funeral Home. Burial will be in Carr Cemetery, Marcy. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today."
