KERRVILLE — Services for Judge A.P. Allison, 88, of Kerrville, who died Saturday in a Kerrville hospital, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Thomas Currie and the Rev. Vickie Yates officiating. Private graveside services will also be held Tuesday. Born Feb. 18, 1904 in Granger, Judge Allison had been a resident of Kerrville since 1932. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a former Deacon, Elder and Sunday School Superintendent of the Church. He graduated from Granger High School in 1922 and from Baylor University in 1928. He was a member of the Class of 1932 at the University of Texas Law School. He was the former Kerrville City Attorney and Kerr County Attorney. He was also the attorney for the Homeowners Loan Corporation. He was District Judge of the 198th District Court from 1971 to 1978. He was a former member of the Board of Directors of the State Bar Association. He married Irene Earl McClellan on Oct. 12, 1930 in Austin. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Nancy Allison Wallace of Kerrville and Irene Allison Thomas of San Antonio; a son, Arthur P. Allison Jr., M.D. of San Antonio; six grandchildren, Cameron Mauze and Alex Mauze, both of Kerrville, Shannon Wallace Tuschak of Austin, Marian Allison Watts of Devine, Laura Allison Kanter of Dallas; and Frederick Arthur Allison of San Antonio; and three great grandchildren, Cameron Carson Mauze and Courtney Allison Mauze, both of Kerrville; and Erin Elizabeth Kanter of Dallas. Kerrville Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
