He was born on June 25, 1930, in Leckrone, Pa., son of Thomas and Caroline Yuras.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings, including his twin sister, Bernice Smith.
Bruno was retired from the German Township Road Board, where he was employed for 26 years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and beloved father and grandfather.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 33 years, Freda Hostetler-Yuras; their three daughters, Georgia Galie and husband, Aaron of Laurel, Md., Gina Marie Koon and husband, Daniel of Brownsville, Pa., and Kristi Jo "KJ" Hostetler, at home; his only granddaughter, Alana Merin Koon, who was his constant companion; a brother, Edward Yuras and wife, Dolly of Uniontown; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Cricket.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday, May 12, 2005, from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Galen Winebrenner officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation was also held Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
