McKinney, Texas, Oct. 11 - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Wilcox, 74, were held in McKinney Friday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Burgess, where she died Wednesday. Dr. Clifford S. Weaver, pastor of the First Christian Church, of which she had been a member for many years and Elder R.C. Horn, veteran Collin County minister, officiating. Burial was in Pecan Grove Cemetery here.
She was the wife of the late James F. Wilcox, who died Feb. 2, 1917. She had been a resident of the county fifty-four years and a member of the Christian Church sixty-two years. She was a native of Winchester, Ky. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Lee Burgess, Mrs. Ramey Williams and J.B. Wilcox, all of McKinney.
