Helen F. Keene, age 87, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. The daughter of John and Alma Lucey, she was born August 12, 1926, in Cincinnati, OH. She was an avid Bunko player and participated in the Monac Elementary Bowling League in her younger years. She enjoyed going to the casinos. Helen truly treasured the time she spent with her friends.
She is survived by her sons, George (Deb), Chris (Lisa) Keene; grandchildren, Brian (April) Keene, Betsey (Dave) Apkarian, Jim (Linda) Drath, Jacob, Abby, and Meghan Keene, Mike (Maureen), and Mitch (Brooklyn) Keene, and their mother, Kathy; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; sons, Tim and Mike, and sister, Margie.
Services were private. Arrangements by Walker Funeral Home.
