Bernie Adamson, 81, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Bernie was born Aug. 31, 1932, in Grand Island, Neb. He was a retired supervisor for Menasco. Bernie served in the Army Air Corps. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Glenda Adamson. Survivors: Wife, Lou Adamson; daughter, Cheryl Elam and husband, Robert; stepdaughter, Denise McCafferty; stepsons, Gary Herron, Ray Herron, David Herron; grandson, Billy Swinford and wife, Jessica; granddaughter, Leanna Powell; and six great-grandchildren.
