He was the husband of Carol A. (Joyal) Capron; they had been married for 25 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Dana W. and Anna M. (Just) Capron.
He was a graduate of East Coast Aero Tech.
He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as an aviation machinist's mate in Virginia Beach, Va.
He was working for Blake Equipment in Pascoag and previously had worked at Amperex/Philips Electronics in North Smithfield from 1974-2004.
Besides his wife he leaves a son and two daughters, a sister, a brother, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
