TENA WALKE
Tena Walke, 68, wife of Henry Walke, died this morning at 12:30 o'clock at her home in Pigeon Hollow. She was born at Waterloo January 25, 1881 a daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Woolum Miller. She was married to Henry Walke, July 4, 1911 and to their union four children were born.
In addition to the husband, she is survived by the following children: Henry L. of Ironton Tr. 2: Mrs. H.W. Miller of Springfield, O.; Mrs. Stanley Vogelsong of Ironton; Wells Walke of Haning Rock; three brothes, Wells Miller of Waterloo, Iowa, Calvin Miller of Cable, O. and Bud Miller of Gladstone, O. Two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Howard of Ironton and Mrs. Belle McNealy of Hanging Rock.
Mrs. Walke was a member of Pigeon Hollow Church of God and a Sunday School teacher and treasurer of the church since its erection in 1936.
The body is at the Phillips Funeral Home where friends may call from 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon until noon Thursday when it will be taken to the residence. At one o'clock Friday afternoon, the body will be taken to the church to lie in state from one until 2 p.m. Friday when last rites will be conducted. Rev. William Blevins and Rev. Jesse Fannin will officiate and burial will be in Woodland.
