Paul E. King, 76 of 227 Greenfield Road, Derry, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 1986, at Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born April 9, 1910 in Unity Township, a son of the late
Harry W. and Gladys Daugherty King.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Derry Area School District. He also worked for the former Pearce Woolen Mills in Latrobe. He was a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Derry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Ann King;
and a brother John King.
He is survived by his wife, Maude Harr King; a daughter, Mrs. James (Susan) Boyd
of Lebanon; two sons, Ralph W. of Trenton, Mich, and Ronald of Derry; Three sisters,
Mrs. Jacob (Mildred) Shirey of Latrobe RD 3, Mrs. Edward (Gaynell) Myers of Latrobe,
RD 6, and Mrs. Daniel (Thelma) Stumpf of Latrobe, a brother , Harry D. of Virginia Beach, VA.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
