Her two husbands preceded her in death, Richard K. Angert, who was killed in action in World War II and William B. Grumley, who died 2 1/2 years ago after being blessed with 52 years of marriage.
Daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Mackie Shiflett, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Simpsonville; and a son, Richard K. Angert II, of Greenville survive her. Grandchildren, Tom Angert and wife Colleen, of Ohio and Abbey and Owen Shiflett; and Owen's fiancee Bobbi, of Texas, also survive "Honey."
A memorial service will be held this week in Texas and later this summer at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Simpsonville, when her earthly remains will be laid to rest with her husband, Bills'.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Cross, Simpsonville or St. Philip's Episcopal Church, Frisco, Texas, where she was proudly a charter member of the mission church two years ago.
