Ronald A. Lukasavage age 76, of Rosholt passed away Monday evening October 14, 2013 at the Portage County Health Care Center.
A Celebration of Life service for Ronald will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday October 20, 2013 at the Shuda Funeral Chapel - Stevens Point. Dwaine Habrat will officiate. Following the service full military honors will be performed at the funeral chapel. Visitation will be from Noon - 2:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral chapel.
Ronald was born July 14, 1937 in Stevens Point, the son of Frances (Goszkowicz) Borski and Nick Lukasavage. He attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1957. He entered the United States Navy July 9, 1957 in Chicago, Il. He served his country until his honorable discharge on July 7, 1961. Upon his return he began his career at the Soo Line Railroad and retired as an engineer. He enjoyed small game and deer hunting. Ron also enjoyed fishing the local lakes and in Canada.
He is survived by his two sisters: Lorraine Osowski and Sue (Gary) Pulchinski, both of Stevens Point. Three brother Dennis (Chris La-May) Borski, Stevens Point; Dale (Barb) Borski, Franklin; Roger (Betty) Borski, Winter, WI. Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Clifford, and sisters Margaret Leberfing and Patricia Winarski.
