Survived by children, Mrs. Ronald (Joanne) Eaglin, Mrs. Stephen (Mary Jo) Fraley of Oakwood and Thomas J. of Dayton, brother of Rev. Fr. Bernard Schmitt C.P.P.S., Rita Madsen, Dorothy Gauchat, Peggy Reichlin, Jane Stewart, 21 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife, Marie A. (Toni) (nee Sell) and one grandson, Kyle. He died with his present wife, Lucille in Florida.
