L. T. Sutfin, son of the late Andy and Maggie Cunningham Sutfin, was born July 19, 1918, in Clay County and passed away Sept. 4, 1987, at the Memorial Hospital, Ormond Beach, Fla., at the age 69.
He was preceded in death by one son, one brother, two sisters and a granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Leona Sutfin, Holly Hill, Fla.; two sons, Carl Sutfin of Piggott and Roy Sutfin of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a daughter, Barbara Kuzma of South Lyon, Mich.; stepdaughter, Bobbie Schultz of Belleville, Mich.; stepmother, Mrs. Edith Williams of Piggott; two stepdaughters, Freida Gregory of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and Ruth Bunch of Ann Arbor, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren ; brother, Elvis Sutfin of Ann Arbor, Mich.; half-brother, Cord Sutfin of Piggott; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, in Hoggard and sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tom Newman officiating.
Interment was in New Hope Cemetery with Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers were Matt Sutfin, Roy Alexander, Kenneth Lee, Edward Chandler, Clarence Gilbee and Jerry Phillips.
