Mr. Lemuel Booth was buried in the Old Ashtabula Cemetery at W. 44th St. and Park Ave., which was vacated in 1903. While the remains for some of those buried there were moved to Chestnut Grove or Edgewood Cemetery, it proved to be difficult to move them all without severely damaging the remains, so some were left where they were and remain on that site, where the library now stands, to this day. Available records and lists show that Mr. Booth is one whose remains are still at that site.
