Adam J. Hipp--71 of Roseburg passed away May 15, 1987 at a local hospital. He was born April 2, 1916 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and had been a Roseburg resident since 1955. Mr. Hipp was a member of the Evangelcal Church of Roseburg and was a guide for many years on the Umpqua River. On December 23, 1933 in Myerstown, Pennsylvania he married Edith who survives. Other survivors include a sister, Mary Snyder of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Private cremation services were held with Garden Valley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made in Mr. Hipps memory to the diabetic Foundation and these may be left at the Garden Valley Funeral Home.

A charge of desertion is alleged by Mae E. Hipp, 508 E. Walnut St., this city, in her complaint against Adam J. Hipp, Winchester, Oregon. They were married June 22, 1935 in Lebanon.
