Mary Lou was born in Dallas, Texas, to the late Jim R. Bailey and Ada Bailey. She was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church where she assisted in vacation Bible school and homebound ministries. She also volunteered with Meals-On-Wheels. Mary bowled in a league, enjoyed going to the YMCA and doing water aerobics. She also enjoyed watching Florida Gators and Carolina Panthers football.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Horne; and a brother, Jim Bailey.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, J.B. Caldwell; daughters, Donna Elaine Moore and her husband, David, of Mocksville, N.C., and Lauren Cindy Caldwell, of Gainesville, Fla.; sisters, Cleta Ashcraft, of Orange, Texas, and Allene Lummus and her husband, Don, of Waco; grandchildren, Wendy Moore and David Moore; great-grandchildren, Ethan Moore and Jonas Moore; other relatives and many friends.
