He was born July 28, 1926 in Ben Franklin, Texas to Norman and Bessie Elizabeth Jackson Boss.
He married Margaret Hill February 7, 1954.
He was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Garland. He was a retired machinist for Texas Instruments and had served in the Army National Guard.
Survivors included his wife, three daughters and sons-in-law, one brother, two sisters, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 19, 2013 in the Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Restland Cemetery in Roxton.
