He is survived by his wife; one son, Aaron Blessing of Murphysboro; two daughters, Mary Baros of De Soto and Esther Reid of Bradenton, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and four brothers, Harvey Blessing and Glenn Blessing, both of East Peoria, John Blessing of Waterloo, Iowa, and Earl Blessing of Chester.
Several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Blessing was a farmer.
