On October 10, 2013, Morris Henry Brinkerhoff passed away with his family at his side.

Morris was born March 20, 1946 in Bicknell to Walter Kirk Brinkerhoff and Cleo Ellett Giles.

Upon graduating Wayne High School, he was called to serve an LDS mission in Germany. Upon completion of his mission, Morris was drafted to serve in the army, stationed in South Korea during the Vietnam War.

After the war, he earned an Associates Degree in accounting which preceded his forty-two-year career for the LDS Church office building in Salt Lake City. He retired in 2011.

Morris married Jacquelyn in 1973. They had six children. On June 21, 1984, Jackie was struck and killed by a motorist, leaving Morris to raise six children. He later married Brenda Whittington, had two additional children, then later divorced. In 2000, Morris married Dawn Liddell, who remained his loving loyal partner.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Natalie, Cort, Dyan, Brendon, Dana, Brian, Adam, and Robert; fourteen grandchildren; brother, Emil; and sisters, Ada, Leah, and Patsy. He is preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Leon.

A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013 in the LDS Church at 6984 West McCuiston Avenue in Herriman, with a viewing one hour prior.
Graveside services will be follow at 4:00 p.m. in Bicknell.
