Joseph V. Hale, 62, of Franklin Furnace Rt. 1, died Sunday morning at Scioto Memorial Hospital.
A retired employee of OSCO Industries, Hale was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Adkins Hale; three sons, Joseph of Westerville, Thomas of Marion and David of Franklin Furnace Rt. 1; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Zemke of Stanchfield, Minn.; and two brothers, Luther of Westland, Mich., and Ernest of Wyandotte, Mich. Five grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services are to be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Don Wolfe Funeral Home with Jack Knechtly, minister, officiating. Burial is to be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 tonight.
