Henry Ward Landin passed away peacefully at his home in rural Warroad, MN on January 21, 2010 at the age of 73.

Henry was born on January 8, 1937 to Erick and Gertrude (Peterson) Landin in Warroad, MN.

Henry and Pat (Battles) were married on August 28, 1955. He joined the U.S. Navy in January of 1956 and served for 22 years, retiring as Sr. Chief Aviation Antisubmarine Warfare Operator. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Warroad and worked for Marvin Windows and Doors for 19 years, and also had an upholstery shop. In his retirement, he enjoyed his hobby farm and was a member of the Warroad American Legion.

He loved the Lord, his family, fishing and hunting. He will be remembered for his commitment to his church, the Warroad Baptist Church, and the Lake Bronson Baptist Bible Camp. He was a hardworking man and had a wonderful sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erick and Gertrude; brothers, Charles, Richard and infant brother, Earl; and a sister, Vivian Holcomb.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 10 AM at the Warroad Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Warroad. Military rites by the Warroad American Legion.
