Mrs. Opal F. Hein, 90, of Gatesville, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, in a Temple hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Scott's Funeral Home, 904 Leon St. in Gatesville, with the Rev. Brint Hilliard officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Rosenberg.
Mrs. Hein was born Dec. 13, 1910 in Bryan to the late Lon and Clara Foster. She was reared and attended school in Bell County. She married Otto Hein, Jr. on Jan. 14, 1919, and they made their home in Rosenberg. Mr. Hein preceded her in death on May 12, 1968. In 1975, Mrs. Hein moved to Gatesville. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by one son, William Lagrone of Temple, and three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Scott's Funeral Home.
