He died Tuesday, May 3, 1983, at Cedar Lake Campus, West Bend, where he resided for approximately a year.
The Rev. Robert Berghammer will officiate, and burial will be in New Holy Trinity Cemetery, Kewaskum. Friends may call from 3:30 t 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born April 21, 1897, in the Town of Kewaskum, to the late Leonard and Mary Klein Volm. He served in World War I. On May 17, 1927, he married Agnes Kohler at St. Kilian.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Adeline) Weis, Mrs. Reginald (Eileen Pierret and Mrs. Ruth Arbogash all of West Bend and Mrs. Bernard (Linda) Kaehne of rural Kewaskum; and three sons, Merlin and William Jr. both of rural Kewaskum and Robert of Upland, Calif.
Also surviving are 29 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Barbara Peter of West Bend. He was preceded in death by his wife on May 16t, 1969, and by two brothers and four sisters.
