Mr. Beddingfield was born January 2, 1948, in MaCaysville, GA. Mr. Beddingfield was a member of the First Assembly of God in Ashdown, a member of the Praise and Worship Band, and a much loved member of the church he attended. He was a member of the American Legion and the NRA.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Beddingfield, his biological father Norman Dwight Oglesby, and a step-son Jimmy Weaver.
Survivors include his spouse, Ruth Overstreet Beddingfield of Ashdown; his step-mother, Vicki Beddingfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Kim Weaver of New Boston, TX; two daughters and sons-in-law, Emily Beddingfield and Alan Powell and Elizabeth and John Klekman of Austin, TX; one daughter-in-law Kelly Demander of Wyoming; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sonja Oglesby and Steve Hull of Thomasville, GA, and Debbie and David Clay of Mexico Beach, Fla.; one special friend and brother-in-law, Johnny Overstreet of Ashdown; two nieces, Christie and Katie Hunt; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 11:00 am Monday October 14, 2013 at the First Assembly of God, Ashdown withe the Rev. Millard Huett officiating.
