Mrs. Sabiston was a daughter of the late Iredell and Zillah Russ Bennett. She was predeceased by her husband, Bridges A. Sabiston, Sr. in 1994 and one son, Bridges A. Sabiston, Jr., in 1996. She was a retired school teacher, having taught for more than 39 years, at various schools. She was also a member of the Brunswick Chapter Eastern Star #341. Surviving are one son, David Sabiston, and wife, Jeanette Sabiston, of Shallotte, NC; three grandchildren, Rhonda Sabiston, Donnette Golder, and Sheila Gideon. Mrs. Sabiston died at age 93 in the Brunswick Community Hospital.
