Henry Ropp, Jasper County Farmer, Dies
Henry Ropp, well known farmer living north of this city, passed away at five o'clock this morning, his death resulting from a complication of diseases from which he had suffered for several years. Death came in his 74th year.
Mr. Ropp had resided in the vicinity where his death occurred a great many years and his entire lifetime was devoted to farming.
The deceased is survivied by his wife and five children. Mrs. Benjamin Sullenberger of Michigan, Arthur Ropp of Fair Oaks, Ross Ropp of Wheatfield, Dalton Ropp of Rensselaer and Mrs. Katie Gross of Warsaw, one sister, Mrs. Barbara Green of Ohio, four brothers, Emanuel Ropp and Charles N. Ropp of Ohio, Andrew Ropp of Jasper county and Horotio Ropp of Buchannan, Mich. Three children and one brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, but the hour for the same has not been set. Interment will be made in Weston cemtery in this city.
