Mr. James Marvin Marchman, age 63, of Warthen, Georgia died Friday, May 10, 2013, in the Washington County Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 13th, in the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Warthen with burial in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Rev. Tim Powell and Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Billy Brown, Tommy Rachels, Tommy Redfern, Roy Avant, Eddie Warren, David Lanthrip, Harry Smith and Eddie Rhodes.

Mr. Marchman was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late James Walter Marchman and the late Mamie Lee Horton Marchman. He was retired from the maintenance department at Imerys Incorporated. Mr. Marchman was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Old Chalker Hunting Club.

Survivors are: his wife, Linda Rhodes Marchman of Warthen; two daughters, April Blackmon and her husband Clinton of Savannah and Kelli McNeely and her husband Joshua of Davisboro; two grandchildren, Aspen Scout Blackmon and India Hood; and a sister, Joanne Marchman of Sandersville.
