She was a homemaker and a member of Charleston Mountain Mission. She was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County.

Surviving son, Ronnie of Charleston; daughter, Joan Flowers Linhart of South Charleston; sisters, Reba Cavender of Sissonville, Emogene Oxley of Tuppers Creek, Geraldine Burdette of Charleston; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
