Anthony "Tubby" Houghten of Gladwin passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 at West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch after a short illness.
He was born May 31, 1932 to Raymond and Aggie (Tarowski) Houghten in Macomb County.
He was a meat manager at A&P Grocery Store, retiring in 1981. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict.
He lived in Gladwin County since 1991, previously residing in Chesterfield Township. He was a member of the Gladwin Eagles #3292 and Veterans of Foreign Wars #7303.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Don and Tom.
Funeral services are Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation is April 19 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. The Eagles Memorial Team will perform special services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Veteran's Hospital.
