MRS. H. H. NELSON DIES TUESDAY

Funeral Held This Afternoon At The Home At Two O'clock

Mrs. H., H. Nelson died at her home Tuesday, the immediate cause of death being cancer. She has been an invalid for eighteen years, being afflicted with rheumatism.
The funeral will be held this (Thursday) afternoon from the family home. Rev. Edward Pruitt, assisted by Rev. John A. Hughes will have charge of the service. Burial will be made in the Sibley cemetery.
Frances E. Cooper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Cooper was born in Dane County, Wisconsin, May 19. 1859.
With her parents she came to Tama County, Iowa when eight years of age. In 1872 she came to Sac County, residing at Early, Iowa for ten years and later at Hampton for four years. She was married to H. H. Nelson, at Sac City, May 19, 1883 and came to this county in April 1897, residing 22 months in Ocheyedan. Since that time she has made her home in Sibley.
Aside from her husband she leaves a son, Jed R. of this city; a sister, Clara H. Schuneman of Spirit Lake and a brother, Geo. F. Cooper of Wellfleet, Nebraska. Gem Inez, her daughter died in 1919.
She was a consistent member of the M. E. church for over forty years, and when her health permitted was an active worker in the women's organizations of the church.
