Funeral services for Christine Harris, 79, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at Calvary Baptist Church, 4111 Airport Rd. in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Byron Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harris died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, at her home. She was born Nov. 14, 1925, in Lindale. She was a resident of Rosenberg for 44 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her children and her dog, Peaches, who were her whole life. She also loved her church and her Sunday School class.
Her husband, W.T. "Bill" Harris preceded her in death, along with her parents, John Warren and Gladys Perryman.
She is survived by her sons: James Howard Harris and wife Deena of Palestine, and Ronald Harris and wife Sue, of Humble; daughter, Linda Sinclair and husband Roger, of Needville; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Serving as pallbearers for the service are Kerry Starnes, Tommy Sluterbeck, Tony Stegall, Roger Sinclair, Dale Sinclair and Mark Sargent.
