Charles E. Butler, well-known resident of Omaha and prominent in fraternal circles, died Monday at his home, 4102 North Twenty-third Street, of Bright's Disease.
Mr. Butler was 58 years of age, and was born in Livingston, Ill., coming to this city in April 1887. He was engaged in the hay and grain business with his brother, George Butler. Mr. Butler was past grand of the Odd Fellows, No. 2. He was also a member of the Maccabees and the Independent Order of Foresters.
Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, two son, George D. and Charles W., and a daughter, Miss Maude M. Butler, all of whom live in Omaha. His brother George and a sister Ida, also survive him.
The funeral will be held from the family residence, at 2 o'clock this afternoon, and burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
