Services for Kathryn Corvin, 69, Ada, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. James Evans and Dr. W.R. Corvin conducting the rites. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Corvin died Jan. 3, 1989, at a local hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1919, at Ada to Claude and Martha Josephine Abbott Norton.

She attended Vanoss and Latta schools, East Central State University and the University of Oklahoma. She worked 34 years at Valley View Hospital as a licensed practical nurse. She was a Southern Baptist.

On August 18, 1936, she and Jerry Corvin were married in Pontotoc County.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry R. Corvin, of the home; four daughters, Jerrilynn Kay Summers, Austin, Texas, Doris K. Hince, Schaumburg, Illinois, Judy C. Williams, Tulsa, and Shonda Raye Cope, Ada; two sons, Kenneth W. Corvin, Austin, Texas, Dennis L. Corvin, Tulsa; her mother, Martha Josephine Parrish, Ada; one brother, Julian M. Campbell, Lake Villa, Illinois; and 15 grandchildren.

Bearers will be Doug Reed, Dr. Mike Stafford, Delbert Wallis, Robin Hood, Bobby Stroud and Dale Babb. Honorary bearer will be Earl Franks.

Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
