Anne Louise was born on Oct. 12, 1930 in Duluth, Minnesota. Her parents, Alfred Wahlberg and Anna Soderman were from Sweden and Finland respectively and met in Chicago, Illinois.
After high school, Anne moved to California to attend school and lived with her sister and her family.
She obtained a position with the American Red Cross and worked at the U.S. Naval Hospital, San Diego as well as the U.S. Army Hospital, Camp Cook, California. After 4-5 years, she moved to Los Angeles, California and worked for a number of years for two doctors offices.
While in Anaheim, California, she met her future husband, John Rotchford. John and Anne married and had three children, Andrew, Kathleen and Matthew. From Diamond Bar, California, the family moved to the Seattle/Renton, Washington area and in 1974 moved to Battle Ground, Washington.
Anne enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, baking, creating art, gardening and playing music. She was the long-time organist for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Battle Ground, Washington, as well as a member of the Society of Washington Artists. Anne had many interests and wonderful friends of all ages.
One of Anne's favorite phrases is to "Remember the Good Times!".
Anne is survived by her sons, Andrew and Matthew Rotchford; her daughter-in-laws, LaSheila Rotchford and Janis Miesen; as well as her three granddaughters, Jasmine, Jada and Julianne Rotchford; and two grandsons, Liam and Jericho Rotchford.
She had one older sister, Violet Cullen, who died in Anaheim, California in 1970.
Services celebrating Anne's life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Battle Ground, Washington on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 starting with a Rosary, a Catholic Mass and reception to follow.
