Funeral services were held at the Warner mortuary chapel Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Ellen Blood Madsen Nielson, who died Saturday at the home of Mrs. Hans Gulbranson of Elsinore.


Bishop J. F. Ogden presided at the services. Speakers were Ferdinand Erickson, Heber Magleby, and Joseph A. Smith of Monroe. A chorus from Monroe furnished music. The invocation was by Lucian Winget of Monroe; the benediction was by Enoch R. Larsen, Lucian Winget dedicated the grave, the interment being in the Monroe cemetery. 

Pallbarers were were Earl Woolley, Harold Madsen, Paul Madsen, Archie Madsen, Frank Haslam and Kenneth Christiansen. 


Mrs. Madsen who was nearly eighty years of age, had lived in Monroe most of her life until after the death of her first husband. Speakers at the services eulogized her for her friendliness and referred to the excellence of her work in dressmaking.


Surviving Mrs. Madsen are a daughter, Mrs. Vota Madsen of Worland, Wyoming, a son, Albert Madsen of Mt. Pleasant.
