George W. Guyton, El Reno, a retired farmer, died Monday night in a Norman hospital following a long illness.
Mr. Guyton, born Oct. 8, 1877, in Georgia, came to El Reno in 1938 from Cogar, west of Minco. He was a member of the Bible Baptist church.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Benson chapel with the Rev. William T. Savage, pastor of the Bible Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in the El Reno cemetery under direction of the Benson funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Amadio, San Lorenzo, Calif.; a brother, John Guyton, Minco, and three sisters, Mrs. Lela Foulk, 1218 Sunset drive, Mrs. Kate Herberger, 1218 Sunset drive, and Mrs. Beulah Timanus, 235 North M.
