In a May 14, 2014, Honolulu Star-Advertiser article, by Erika Engle in her column "TheBuzz," Harry B. Soria and his long-running Hawaiian music radio program is featured. As of 2014, the radio program, "Territorial Airwaves," has been running nearly 35 years and is currently aired on KKNE-AM 940. (On the net: territorialairwaves.com). In the article, the Soria patriarch, Harry Gilman Soria (Memorial #118507470) is mentioned, as well as his son, Harry Browning Soria (Memorial #120057024), present-day radio host Harry B. Soria's father. The article notes that: "The Soria name has a 90-year legacy in Hawaii radio, beginning with patriarch Harry Gilman Soria, who sold advertising for 27 years at the old KGU-AM 760, then with Harry B. Soria Sr., a broadcaster and writer of hapa-haole songs."

According to the State of Hawaii Marriage Index, available in the Hawaii State Library, Honolulu, HI, Harry Gilman Soria and Irene Aida Hills were married in Honolulu on 20 Dec 1946.
