Michael, 47, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at McLaren Central Michigan.

Funeral Services for Michael were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, October 14, with Fr. Thomas Held officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Friends of The Broadway or to the MS Society.

Michael was the son Marvin and Jeanette (Vos) Diepstra. He married Mary Frances Dunneback on January 22, 1994 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Comstock Park.

He enjoyed volunteering his time and helping others at the Broadway Theatre and delivering meals for the Commission on Aging. Michael loved his family dearly and will be known as kind hearted and outgoing.

Michael is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Bridget and Jeremy Diepstra; mother; brothers, Jon (Jodi) Diepstra and Jim (Stephene) Diepstra; and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father.
