ARCOLA -- Funeral services for Cyrus Fred Blackwell, 49, who was fatally injured in a crossing crash Tuesday night, were conducted Thursday afternoon in the Christian church by Rev. David P. Morris. Burial was in Arcola cemetery. The Masonic lodge assisted in the services.
Mr. Blackwell was born near Sullivan, and was married to Miss Melinda Fenton Collis, about 26 years ago. He leaves his widow and two sons, Ray and Paul, both of Arcola.
