Harrison Leroy Jessop, son of Jacob and June Jessop, was born Sept. 25, 1889, in Davis County, Iowa and died at Grand Island, Neb., Feb. 5, 1920 at the age of 30 years, 4 months 12 days. He united in marriage to Miss Lettie Henry, of Doniphan, Neb., and to them was born two children, Vona, aged 7 years and Cecil, aged 2 years. Besides his wife and children he leaves to mourn his early death his mother, three brothers and five sisters and many other relatives and friends. A short funeral service was held at Cedar View Cemetery Thursday afternoon, February 12, Rev. Craig pastor of the Congregational church being in charge. On account of death being due to influenza and pneumonia, funeral services from the home or church was not permitted. The family have the sympathy of all.
