Services were held Monday for Earl (Tim) Scroggins, 68, of 163 Green Oak, who passed away July 17 in the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Rev. Richard Johnson officiated at services in the Chapel of the Kerrville Funeral Home and interment followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Scroggins, a resident of Kerrville since 1982, was born June 22, 1918 in Ullen, IL., and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He previously was a longtime resident of Houston. Scroggins was a salesman with Johnson and Sons for 28 years and a veteran of WW II, having served in the U.S. Air Force and was a life member of the V.F.W. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Peggy) Scroggins of Kerrville; two sons, Randy Scroggins of Kerrville, Keith Scroggins of San Marcos; daughter, Lynn Chasin of Katy; two brothers, W. G. Scroggins of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Herman Scroggins of Phoenix, Ariz; two sisters, Lila Reichling
