Billy Frank (Bill) Ford entered heavenly rest October 8, 2013. He was born to A.F. and Letha (McGill) Ford in North Zulch, Texas June 12, 1930, the youngest of three children, and was 83. He leaves behind a loving family, his wife Elda Una Havenar Malone Ford of Hathaway and two sons Kenneth Malone who lives in Houston with his partner Joseph Culotta and Navy Capt. Billy R. Malone (Ret) of McDonough GA and his wife Donna. He had four much loved grandchildren Nicholas Malone (Heather) of Pelham, NY, JoBeth Chambers (Cory) of Savannah, GA, Emily Malone of Atlanta, GA, and William (Billy) Malone who is stationed at Fort Benning, GA. His beloved sisters were Melba Ford Mayfield who preceded him and Betty Ford Ward who lives in Houston with her husband Joe.

Bill proudly served his country in the army in the Korean Conflict from 1953-1955 with an honorable discharge. He received a BBA degree from Sam Houston State University and was a lifelong accountant retiring from Gulf Oil Corporation. Locally, he worked with Mel Schultess. His strong voice helped fill the choir at church for many years. He also loved working with his flowers in the garden.

Visitation will be at Miguez Funeral Home on Thursday, October 10 from 3:30-7:00 pm. Services will be at 11:00 am Friday, October 11 at Jennings United Methodist Church with Rev. Walter Parker, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Raymond Cemetery.
