Edward Francis Aikey Sr., age 66, of Burlington, passed away on March 5th 2003 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.

Ed was born on April 26th 1937 in Leominster, Mass., he was the son of Edward L. and Alberta (LaForce) Aikey.

He served four years in the U.S. Air Force as an M.P. while stationed in England.

Upon his return to Burlington, he was employed by the Burlington Paper Stock Co., Burlington Waste & Metal and Farrell Chemical.

Ed enjoyed fishing, garage sales and reading. Ed was often seen riding his three wheel tricycle around the Burlington, Vt. area.

Ed was predeceased by his grandmother; Mary LaForce, his father; Edward L. Aikey, both in 1979, and his mother; Alberta, in 1997.
